Historical Diving Society

Welcome!

A small group of veteran divers, some professional divers, other recreational divers, with experience of hundreds or thousands of dives, united by this love of the Sea and adventure to that something unknown, we discovered the HDS societies that held exhibitions with diving equipment very, very old. Contacting them we saw that under the acronym HDS Historical Diving Society they had something in common, despite being from many different countries around the world.

Currently formed by the President, 2 Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary and five members.

general Assembly

It will be convened at least once a year and as often as necessary. It will be announced by e-mail well in advance, indicating the day, time and place, together with the Agenda, which may receive modifications proposed by the associates, up to five days before the day of the Assembly.

Board of Honor

Formed by honorary associate members. I could suggest any decision or proposal, but they can't vote.

Vintage Diving

One of the activities that we can do is organize vintage diving days, in which to put into practice dives with old equipment, but revised and in perfect condition. A unique and different experience that takes us back to times when, at least the Sea, was infinitely better.

 Together we will advance our passion, preventing the past from falling into oblivion and being lost to future generations of divers.

This is a non-profit association, which is nourished by the contributions of the sponsors, the ordinary fees of its associates and the sale of books, photos and other items donated, for that purpose, by its members or friends.

Through these lines, we want to invite you to join us. If you practice or have practiced any form of diving, if you are attracted to the sea, you are welcome.

Within the HDSES, we want to form different sections of collectors: diving helmets, regulators, books, cameras, waterproof boxes, etc. We also want to have with us the best diving specialists in all its facets.
